學工業合成材料老化質量監督檢驗中心、廣東省質量監督涂料產品檢驗站、廣東省質量監督試劑產品檢驗站（出具CNAS、ilac-MRA、CMA、CAL認證報告），本中心可按ISO、GB、ASTM、DIN等國內外標準，對各種高分子材料（塑料、橡膠、涂料、亞克力、有機玻璃、金屬粉末涂料、偽裝涂料、偽裝迷彩布、迷彩裝飾布、橡膠密封圈、聚乙烯護套料、聚乙烯土工膜、玻璃鋼、復合材料、汽車材料、建筑材料、樹脂、膠黏劑、化學試劑等等）及其制品進行性能、老檢測檢測，對塑料、橡膠、復合材料等高分子材料進行使用壽命推算與評估檢測。
玻璃鋼亦稱作GFRP，即纖維強化塑料，一般指用玻璃纖維增強不飽和聚酯、環氧樹脂與酚醛樹脂基體，以玻璃纖維或其制品作增強材料的增強塑料，稱為玻璃纖維增強塑料，或稱為玻璃鋼，不同于鋼化玻璃。
