　自動化設備在全世界的范圍內都已經普及，而PLC又是自動化設備開發的主要元器件之一。我們都知道美國是當今世界頭號的汽車大國，被人稱作汽車輪子上的國家，這里無論在汽車保有量，還是汽車產能方面，都處于領先位置，這里對PLC的需求量是非常巨大的，可以說這對國產廠家PLC來說，是個巨大的值得開發的市場，但又是一個非常難以進入的市場。
　　首先，國產PLC起步較晚，從技術上來說，較為落后。雖說最近十幾年，中國的汽車技術進步很快，但是相對于歐美等發展國家來說，還有一定的差距。雖然在PLC方面，我們有可能實現彎道超車，但是短時間內，還存在不小的難度。其次，產品認知度不高，在美國沒有什么名氣，因此很多獲得美國汽車制造企業的訂單;而且美國PLC廠家出于自己利益的考慮，也會打壓國產PLC廠家，即使自己不掙錢，也不讓國產PLC廠家獲得訂單。最后，為了保護本國企業的利益出發，歐美對在制度設計上，對國產PLC廠家產品打入歐美國家還存在一些不利的限制條件。
　　國產PLC要想打入歐美市場，首先要選擇一個突破口，就想海爾、華為等企業，選擇一個突破點，在當地打出自己的名氣，逐步的被當地人接受國產PLC，這是一個值得效仿的策略。由點到線，由線到面，逐步推進，逐步滲透，最終獲得當地客戶的充分的信任和認可。統計數據顯示，美國是當代的PLC生產大國，全國有一百多家PLC廠家，著名的有A-B公司、通用電氣(GE)公司、莫迪康(MODICON)公司、德州儀器(TI)公司、西屋公司等。其中A-B公司是美國最大的PLC制造商，其產品約占美國PLC市場的一半。國產PLC要想在美國贏得自己的市場發展空間，必須先從小眾市場入手，避免與前面幾個大公司正面競爭，采用蠶食的方式，逐步的獲得當地市場的認可。
　　要想進入美國市場，國產PLC的還有很長的路要走。一方面，應該本著慢工出細活，功到自然成的原則，走循序漸進的道路，另一方面，也要努力鉆研，用拳頭產品撬開美國PLC市場的大門，打造一個爆款國產PLC產品，讓美國人對咱國產plc刮目相看，這樣他們才會真正相信國產PLC廠家的實力。相信國內企業終會在歐美市場獲得自己的一席之地。
