The IC698CPE010 is a Central Processing Unit from the GE Fanuc RX7i series.This device is capable of controlling industrial machinery and material processes in real-time. It communicates with other devices and modules through a VME64 connection backplane mounted to the rack.

The IC698CPE010 has a 300MHz Celeron microprocessor capable of performing floating point calculations. The standard speed of each Boolean function is 0.33ms per coil. Other features of this device include but are not limited to the following: three embedded serial ports and two Ethernet ports, bit-in-word reference support, symbolic variable support, a Test Edit mode, and data monitoring over the web.

This device has 10 megabytes of RAM memory for data and programming information. This memory is sustained by a CMOS battery. Securely mount and ground the device into slot one of the rack, the designated CPU slot. Connect the Ethernet and serial ports. Re-enable power to the rack. Connect the CMOS battery to one of the connectors. Begin programming the device.
