Our FN air-operated chucks are used wherever applications need the maximum accuracy and process reliability. The applications are wide and varied. In lathe operations, these chucks are particularly suitable for thin-walled workpieces that must not be deformed. They have proven their worth in hard machining too, however. The chucks come in a wide range of versions, such as 2, 3 and 4-jaw chucks with or without through holes for coolant. The sealed version has been specially designed for grinding machines. Their design also makes them the ideal choice for dividing units and in automation.

MANUAL
The FN collet chuck is used wherever enhanced concentricity and a compact design are required. The lean design makes this collet chuck ideal for dividers, round tables, manual lathes and grinding machines. The functional principle is similar to that of scroll chucks: the radial clamping force actuates a puller sleeve that pulls the collet into the cone. COMPANY
FN Niederhauser AG was founded by Fritz Niederhauser at the end of November 1989. It was initially called Fritz Niederhauser Service AG, continuing under that name until 1991. The company was originally a business trading in clamping equipment that had its own service department. In 1992 Daniel Manetsch took over Fritz Niederhauser Service AG with a mission and vision to transform the trading enterprise into a strong service company in the workpiece clamping technology sector. The machine tool park was successively adapted to customer requirements and continuously renewed. The further development of our product range saw it outgrow the production facility in Horw, so in January 2012 we moved to our new site in Sempach.
On 1 January 2015, FN Niederhauser AG was taken over by a long-standing employee, Roland Helfenstein.
Today FN Niederhauser AG is known well beyond the borders of the country and valued both for its large range of standard products as well as for its customized clamping solutions.
