5.1 Zero Tolerance Standards – Non-negotiable
areas for all
factories required by Starbucks to
undergo
assessments.

5.2 Contents of Zero Tolerance Standards:
5.2.1
TRANSPARENCY (to include bribery attempts
包括企圖賄賂) 透明度 – Starbucks expects suppliers to
provide
transparency into their operations,
policies,
processes, and relevant records to
Starbucks or its
designated third party. Suppliers
must disclose the identity,
physical location and
ownership of all
factories that will produce goods
for Starbucks,
including the use of
subcontractors.
星巴克要求供應商向星巴克及其指定的第三方提供其業務,政策,程序及其他的相關記錄。
供應商必須公布將用來為星巴克進行生產的所有工廠的名稱,地址及所有權屬,包括轉包商。
A The Importance of Transparency 透明的重要性

on the facility’s level of
transparency.

just one evidence of a violation to

B Starbucks TRANSPARENCY Compliance Benchmarks
¨ Suppliers must provide Starbucks with all
pertinent
information about their facilities and
subcontractors
(identity/physical location,
ownership, other
information as maybe required).
供應商須向星巴克提供所有其設備及轉包商的相關信息(名稱/地址,所有權屬及可能需要的其他信息)。
¨ All
subcontractors are on the Starbucks
approved vendor
list. 所使用的轉包商必須在星巴克核準的Vendor名單中。
¨ Disclose any conditions that may be in
conflict
with any
Starbucks Code of Conduct standards of
any applicable
regulations or laws.
公開任何可能與星巴克行為準則或任何適用的法律法規相沖突的情況。
¨ Bribery attempts are violations to

5.2.2 Commitment to Continuous Improvement 承諾不斷改善
A Starbucks expects suppliers to demonstrate a
commitment to
continuous improvement and engage in
the improvement
process.
星巴克希望供應商能展示不斷改善的決心和參與改進的過程。
5.2.3 Child Labor
童工
A Suppliers will not employ any persons under
the age of 15. 供應商不能雇用任何小于15歲的工人。
B If local regulations stipulate compulsory
education up to
an age greater than 15, those
regulations will
apply during school hour.
如果當地規定義務教育年齡超過15歲,則按當地法規執行。
C Procedures for verifying workers’ ages are

5.2.4 Forced
Labor 強迫勞工
A Starbucks will not tolerate the use of
forced
or involuntary
labor, either directly or
indirectly, by
our suppliers, contractors or
subcontractors. 星巴克不容忍供應商,承包商或轉包商使用任何強迫或非自愿的勞工。
B Forced Labor is work exacted under menace of
any penalty and
for which the workers has not
offered himself
voluntarily.

C Workers are not required to pay the factory
any pre-employment
fees or deposits.
工廠不能向工人加收任何雇用費和押金。
D Factories do not retain the originals of
worker’s personal documents,
except when requested
by workers or if required by law.
In such case the
workers should
have unrestricted access to all
personal
documents held by the factory.
工廠不能扣留工人個人證件原件(
工人的護照,身份證等),除非應工人的要求或法律規定,則工人必須能夠自由得到所有工廠幫助其保管的個人證件。
E All overtime is voluntary. 所有加班都是自愿的。
F Freedom of movement is not unreasonably

5.2.5 Non-payment
of Wages 無薪酬
A Workers must be paid
directly
on a regular
basis per a published schedule.

Physical/Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment
身體/性虐待和性騷擾
A Suppliers must not use or permit corporal
punishment of any
other form of physical or
psychological
coercion including verbal abuse and
sexual
harassment.
供應商不得使用或允許體罰或其他任何形式的身體或精神脅迫,包括辱罵和性騷擾。
B Workplace is free from all forms of abuse.
工作場所沒有任何形式的虐待。
C Presence of written and standard application
of
anti-harassment and abuse policies and

5.2.7 Denied
Access 拒絕評估
A Suppliers must allow unannounced inspections
of their records and
facilities by Starbucks or a
Starbucks
approved third party to verify
compliance to
the standards, including
confidential employee
interviews.
供應商必須允許星巴克核準的第三方未經事前通知檢查其記錄,設施并進行員工訪談。
5.3 Penalties for noncompliance: New Suppliers
對不合規定的工廠的懲罰:新的供應商。
5.3.1 No Starbucks business will be awarded to
factories that
do not comply with these standards.
不合規的供應商不會得到任何星巴克的業務。
5.3.2 Buyers can
choose to use Corrective Action
Request process
to address noncompliance. Business
will only be
awarded when CAR is successfully
implemented as
confirmed by a second on-site
assessment.
買家可選擇使用改正行為要求CAR程序來解決不合規。并只有當第二次現場評估確認了改正行為要求成功,CAR實施后才會給于業務。
