Diagnosis: The internal power buses of+5 V, 12 V, 15 V and 28 V are monitored and alarmed. In addition to the 28 V power supply set to 5.5%, the alarm settings are customizable, typically set to 3.5%.
The figure shows three simplex system settings using VCMI with local and remote I/O. Each I/O rack has its own VCMI board, and many I/O racks can be connected to IONet. As shown in the lower part of the figure, the second IONet port on VCMI can be used as a parallel IONet to improve the data throughput of applications requiring low latency.
